Seminar on Occupational Health

We are pleased to announce a bilateral seminar between the National Research Center for the Working Environment, Copenhagen and the Physical Activity and Human Performance research interest group, Center for Sensory-Motor Interaction (SMI), Aalborg University represented by the Laboratory for ergonomics and work related disorders.

Professor Lars L. Andersen and his group from NRCWE will present novel findings concerning "integrated motion at work". The presentation will focus on intervention studies aiming at the prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders in relation to seated, laboratory, butchers and health personal work.

Professor Pascal Madeleine and his group will review recent studies conducted at Aalborg University related to ergonomic interventions, bio-signal variability analyses in real and virtual environment as well as supervised training for the prevention of neck shoulder disorders. Guest researcher Dr. Divya Srinivasan from Gävle University, Sweden will present new results concerning pipetting work and motor control from the shoulder girdle.
