Venture Cup 2018

Venture Cup Denmark is announcing a brand new program in collaboration with the Novo Nordisk Foundation

Copenhagen, Denmark, 25/04/2018 - The aim of the Nordic HealthTech Talents program is to identify and elevate the best upcoming HealthTech solutions in the Nordics. The program will focus on both business development, personal leadership and on establishing the network needed to create successful serial entrepreneurs of tomorrow in HealthTech.

The Nordic HealthTech Talents program is truly international, involving startups from the five Nordic countries in collaboration, workshops and events in all these countries.

The 20 lucky participants who are accepted into the program will go through a two-track development journey. The first track is a personal leadership training in the skills of planning, prioritization and the principles real leadership. This includes high ethical standards, low hierarchy, contribution to the local community and adding value to the ecosystem. The second track is business development. In this track, participants will learn how to develop viable business ideas and grow their company. Each company will receive a 50.000 DKK grant and fully-funded international travels.

The program is aimed at university students or recent graduates who have innovative HealthTech ideas that they want to turn into world class companies. In order to highlight the importance of diversity in solving the world’s major challenges, one of the program’s objectives is to make sure that one third of participants are female.

To further underline the importance of diversity 30% of the spots in the program are dedicated to highly motivated teams from other tech areas.

We hope to inspire talents in HealthTech to become the change managers and thinkers of tomorrow.
