Haematological Research Laboratory

The Hematological Research Laboratory, strive to explore the molecular mechanisms that underlie cellular function and contribute to human disease and to ensure hematological patients the optimal diagnosis and treatment.


The CET laboratory's main function is to develop, coordinate and carry out examinations primarily on patients at risk of malnutrition and malabsorption, in patients with short bowel syndrome or intestinal failure.

The Lipid Clinic

The Lipid Clinic research laboratory focuses on risk and risk factors for cardiovascular disease. For many years, the research focus has been on diet, not least on intake of seafood and fish oils.

The Orthopaedic Surgery Research Unit

During the past 10 years, the research activities have attained diversity and intensity. Some of the current research programmes are spine, hip and knee pathology arthroscopic surgery, pain management, minimal invasive surgery, and epidemiology in lower leg.
