CRO's in Denmark

Two internationally recognized Contract Research Organisations (CCBR and C4Pain) are located in the region performing clinical trials from phase Ib to IV. The CROs have probably the world´s largest databases in the area of osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, pain, inflammatory diseases, and diabetes.

CCBR-SYNARC A/S is a research-based clinical trial unit focused on accessing and recruiting patients for clinical trials (phase Ib to IV) through 16 dedicated Clinical Research Centers located in 10 countries around the world with a total capacity of 16,000+ patients/year. Three units are placed in Denmark with a total capacity of 5,000+ patients/year. The Unit in North Denmark has the capacity of 1,300 patients/year. Studies are performed within the following areas: Bone healing, Osteoporosis, Diabetes, Rheumatoid arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Cognitive impairment, Alzheimer's disease, CNS, Respiratory, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Vaccines, Allergy, Women's health, Cardiovascular disease, and Medical devices.

C4Pain is the only research-based clinical trial unit in the world focusing specifically on Phase Ib to Phase III in the area of pain and inflammation. C4Pain has the most advanced and comprehensive pain mechanism-based targeted drug profiling program within pain and inflammation. Pain studies are performed within the following areas: Osteoarthrosis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Myofascial pain, Chronic tension type headache, Migraine, Epicondylitis, Fibromyalgia, Whiplash, Chronic low back pain, Neuropathic pain, Interstitial cystitis, Endometriosis, Dysmenorrhea, Pancreatitis, Irritable bowel syndrome, and Medical devices.
